AWANA is a non-deminational bible centered youth group, whose goal is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and train them to serve Him. AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed. It comes from the AWANA key verse, 2 Timothy 2:15.

 

TBC currently has 4 different clubs. 

  
PuggLes

 

PuggLes is the AWANA'S program for your 2's and 3's

not completely potty trained.

It is a one year program which utilizes teaching cards, activity books, puppets, and more.

Cubbies

Cubbies is the AWANA'S program for potty trained child that is 3 or 4 years old.

This club has crafts, puppets, pledges, game time, verse memorization and more.

Sparks
T & T

(Truth & Training)

Sparks is AWANA'S program for K5-2nd. graders.

This program offers game time, handbook time, verse memorization and a council time.

T&T (Truth & Training) is AWANA'S program for 3rd.-5th. graders.

This program offers game time, handbook time, verse memorization and a council time.

What to expect...

Upon arrival you can check your child in the Family Life Center. While in AWANA'S, the children are rewarded for bringing their Bible, a visitor, each book section passed, wearing their uniform, sportsmanship, finishing the games according to the rules, participating in the themes, and much more.

Throughout the evening, the children will be involved in the following activites...

  1. Opening Ceremony: pledges to the American flag, AWANA flag, Christian flag, and the Bible

  2. Handbook Time: completing sections in their individual handbooks at their own pace

  3. Game Time: learning how to follow rules, work as a team, and cheer on their teammates

  4. Council Time: group lesson designed for their specific age.
